Join us at Journey/Tree of Life church this winter as we go through the book of Nehemiah and learn what it takes to trust God for the rebuilding projects in our lives.

Friends of Angels: "Spring Cleaning All Year Round"
In addition to our annual May garage sale, FOA will be taking unwanted-goods donations on the last Sunday of EVERY month. FOA will accept home or office furniture (bed frames, mattresses, kitchen tables, sofas, file cabinets, desks, monitors, computers, etc.), office equipment or supplies, kitchen items or appliances, tools, children's clothing, toys, collectibles, designer brand clothing, automobiles, bicycles, etc. Please let Carol Poon know if you have something to donate. Small goods can be brought to church on the last Sunday of every month. Larger items need to be coordinated with Carol.
Friends of Angels: "All Star Football Game"

Enjoy a fun evening with family and friends watching the best-of-the-best football players from all of the local South Bay High Schools play a game together on January 21, 2012 at 6 p.m. at Mira Costa High School's Mustang Stadium (325 S. Peck Ave., Manhattan Beach, CA 90266). FOA is selling tickets for the Lions Club's ALL STAR FOOTBALL GAME $10 per ticket (50% of the ticket cost will benefit FOA camp). We are also looking for volunteers to help serve the community at the game by flipping burgers, frying french fries, what ever is needed. Alpine Winter Camp
Alpine Camp is offering three Winter Camp dates for 3rd through 6th grade children. The dates are January 27-29, February 3-5 and February 10-12. The price is $145 per person. If you would like more information, contact Sue Wiley.
