On the Rock
Young Adult (18-26) Ministry
We're excited to announce a new weekly gathering for On The Rock, called "Life Together." Our focus will be discipleship; asking questions like what does it mean to be a missionary in my world; how do I grow in my faith; how do I study the Scriptures; what can I know about who God is and wants? One Thousand Gifts: A Time of Reflection & Thanksgiving
May 12th - 9am-noon
Join us on Saturday, May 12th from 9 am to 12 pm at South Coast Botanic Garden, Palos Verdes Estates for a time of thanksgiving as we read, reflect upon, and discuss selections from the best-selling book by Christian author Ann Voskamp. Our time will begin with a light breakfast picnic, followed by a stroll through the enchanting botanic gardens, and then re-gathering in the meadows for a time of sharing and prayer. The only cost for this event is $8 for the entrance fee into the gardens (cash only, please.) For more information and to RSVP, please contact Joan Jahng.
Friends of Angels Autism Family Camp Fundraiser Dinner

THANK YOU to all who volunteered and participated to prepare & work at yesterday's yard sale. Much is appreciated!
In addition to our annual May garage sale, FOA will be taking unwanted-goods donations on the last Sunday of EVERY month. FOA will accept home or office furniture (bed frames, mattresses, kitchen tables, sofas, file cabinets, desks, monitors, computers, etc.), office equipment or supplies, kitchen items or appliances, tools, children's clothing, toys, collectibles, designer brand clothing, automobiles, bicycles, etc. Please let Carol Poon know if you have something to donate. Small goods can be brought to church on the last Sunday of every month. Look for the 'Drop Off Donation' sign in the parking lot. Larger items need to be coordinated with Carol.
